Reminds me a little of the pogue colour scheme so I think it's alright. That being said I'm not 100% sold on the speedtimers 😅

Wait can you explain why your not convinced by the speedtimers. Ive loved them, even considered getting one at one point

Okay so take the ssc813 for example, that's my fave version and at one point I considered buying it because its a nice design. However, for £590 and a solar powered movement and knowing the kind of QC issues Seiko have had lately it put me off. A few other reasons being that my Lorier Gemini was £350 second hand for a design I like more, I could actually build a chronograph with a VK63/64 movement which I've done a couple times and they're a hell of a lot cheaper as well as sort of being my own design. Lorier announced they're doing a tri-compax panda to replace the Gemini later this year and they'll use the Seiko NE88 movement so I'm interested to see how that turns out and what sort of price it'll be

Oh wow im excited to see the replacement to the Gemeni, didnt know it was being discontinued. In terms of the speedtimers, I get how it sits at a steep price point for what it is. I am personally still convinced by the QC of the seiko (mabye and probably wishful thinking on my behalf). I get your points and have looked at lorier as well as an alternative

As am I, a vintage inspired panda from Lorier gives me daytona/universal geneve/carrera vibes 😁 that's fair, I don't think seiko have lost a step but in an era where microbrands and modders like myself can create technically better pieces with alignment and all up to scratch it worries me but then again there are two seikos I'd like eventually so (spb317 and ssk003)
